Blocking

To suspend the permissions where the resource is used, please proceed as follows:

  1. Switch to the Resources section and find the required resource
  2. Open the resource profile and click Block
  3. Confirm the action by clicking Block again

The resource is now displayed as Blocked in all sections (). All permissions for which the resource is used will be marked with a warning ()

Removing

You have to remove all local Access accounts from the Indeed PAM before removing the resource itself.

Bulk resource removal

  1. Switch to the Resources section and select one or several resources.
  2. Click Remove. Confirm the action by clicking Remove all.

Removing a resource from its profile

  1. Switch to the Resources section and find the required resource.
  2. Open the resource profile and click Remove.
  3. Confirm the action by clicking Remove again.

Restoring

To restore a removed resource, please proceed as follows:

  1. Switch to the Resources section and click Extended search.
  2. Enter Resource name or Address (DNS name/IP address) completely or partially.
  3. Select Removed value for the State field and click Search.


  4. Open the resource profile and click Rollback.
  5. Configure Service connection.
    • Activate the Use connector for service connection option. 

    If you plan to use a local account as the service one, then this setting can be skipped. You can return to it after an account is added. If an Active Directory domain is added to Indeed PAM, then you can use a domain account as service one.

    • Choose the Connector 
    • Specify the Address (DNS name/IP address)

  6. Select the service account.
    To find the account enter Account name completely or partially.
  7. Select the account policy.
  8. Specify the reset reason and click Rollback.
