Before installing Indeed PAM components on the server, you must:

After installing and configuring the Access server components, you must apply the required Indeed Identity PAM Gateway Security Settings! Otherwise, sessions will be interrupted when connecting to the Access server.

Installing and configuring Management server

  1. Copy the PAM distribution folder from the Management server to the Access server, make sure the Secrets.json file exists and contains non-empty values.
  2. Login with Active Directory account and run PowerShell as administrator.
  3. Launch the Indeed-PAM-Wizard.ps1 installation script.
  4. In the Select components window, check Access Server and click Next button.
  5. In the next step, click Install button, wait for the installation to finish.
    Click No button when prompt to reboot appears.

  6. In the next step enter Management server's FQDN and click Next button.

  7. In the last step click Configure button, wait for finishing, click OK to exit.

  8. Start the Server Manager
  9. Go to Remote Desktop ServicesCollections
  10. Under Collections, click Tasks and select Create session collections
  11. Complete the wizard to create a collection with the settings you need.
  12. Under RemoteApp Programs click Tasks and select Publish RemoteApp Programs
  13. Click Add, select application \\PAMServerName\c$\Program Files\Indeed Identity\Indeed PAM\Gateway\ProxyApp\Pam.Proxy.App.exe, click NextPublish
  14. In the RemoteApp Programs section, open the context menu of the published application and select Edit Properties
  15. Go to Parameters, set the Allow any command-line parameters option and click OK
  16. Reboot the server.
