User authentication is performed when the user unlocks the smart card, when attempting to disable the smart card without logging into the operating system, when accessing Remote Self-Service, and when performing a task created by the administrator to reset user PIN on Agent.
This section defines user authentication parameters: number of security questions for authentication (default value is 1) and maximum number of authentication attempts using security questions (default value is 3).
The Security questions tab defines the security question parameters: list of questions and minimum number of characters in answer.
If the list of security questions is not set, then the user will not be able to specify the answers to security questions in the Self-Service.
To define a security question, click Create security question, enter the question text and define minimum answer length (default value is 3 characters). Click Create to store changes.
Created questions can be modified or removed if necessary. To modify a question, click the

A security question can only be removed if not used by any user.
