This guide describes the procedure for migrating data (cards and certificates) from SafeNet Authentication Manager (SAM) to Axidian CertiFlow.

Prerequisites

Data migration is possible under the following conditions:

On the SAM side:

• SafeNet Authentication Manager version 8.0, 8.2 Rev E, and 9.0 SP2/SP3

• SAM data repository in Active Directory

• Microsoft Certificate Authority edition: Enterprise

• All card types (USB tokens, smart cards) and their ATR (Answer To Reset) values used in SAM are known. The same card types and ATR values will be used in Axidian CertiFlow.

On the Axidian CertiFlow side:

• CertiFlow Server version 4.1.3 or higher

• Data storage in Active Directory or Microsoft SQL
