The tab defines the templates of email notifications of Indeed Certificate Manager system events to be sent to system administrators. You can define one template for each notification within a policy of smart card usage.

The basic variant of email notification contains the following information:

Subject. Defined by the system event name, for example, "Issuing card".
Message text. Defined as per message name and its type. It might contain information about the author, user, certificates, and smart cards.

You can define only one template for each notification in a policy of device usage. Based on the template, shown in the figure, the Indeed CM system generates and sends an email message with the following contents:

Subject: Card issuance
Message text: Issue card is pending.
Policy: Base Policy
Card: IDPrime MD: f152c81ef62d9c4297e3cb49d22dd3bf
Certificates: Smart card logon, User
Traced certificates: CAmelot CA User
Common certificates: Certificate for VPN
Initiator: DEMO\Administrator

The basic template can be changed. The system allows for HTML tags usage for message text formatting. Figure shows an example of personalized email notification template.

The text of email notification based on the modified template should look like as follows:

Subject: User card issuance is waiting for approval

Issue card is pending.

User John Smith sent a request to issue smart card IDPrime MD:f152c81ef62d9c4297e3cb49d22dd3bf according to Base policy.
The following certificates will be written to the card: Smart Card Logon User.
Please, Approve or Deny requested certificates.
