Indeed CM Axidian CertiFlow Agent is an additional component of the system, its installation and configuration are performed after the deployment and configuration of Indeed Certificate Manager. |
Indeed Certificate Manager client agent is intended for remote management, status monitoring and control over the use of personal user authentication devices (USB tokens, smart cards). In automatic mode, using an agent at user workstations, operations are performed for locking/unlocking, cleaning and changing the card administrator’s PIN code; monitoring the cards status with recording information in the system log about the presence of locked cards in the system, connecting unregistered cards, attempts to enter an invalid PIN. If defined device usage rules are violated (say, device is connected to another user workstation), then the device or user session might be locked. The component is installed onto the workstations where the cards issued with Indeed CM are connected to.
Installation and configuration of Indeed CM Agent is performed after deployment and configuration of Indeed Certificate Manager.
it should be installed and configured after Axidian CertiFlow is deployed. |
Axidian CertiFlow Agent allows to remotely manage and control personal user smart cards. Agent is deployed to workstations with cards issued by Axidian CertiFlow.
Agents work automatically on users' workstations and perform the following operations with smart cards:
- locking and unlocking
- clearing
- changing card administrator PIN
- card monitoring - reporting on blocked or unregistered cards and incorrect PIN entry attempts.
If the administrator-set rules for smart card usage are violated (e.g. if a user connects to another employee's workstation), the software can block the smart card or the user's session in the operating system.
