This guide describes the procedure for migrating data (cards and certificates) from SafeNet Authentication Manager (SAM) to Indeed Certificate Manager.
Prerequisites
Data migration is possible under the following conditions:
On the SAM side:
SafeNet Authentication Manager version 8.0, 8.2 Rev E, and 9.0 Rev D
SAM data repository in Active Directory
Microsoft Certificate Authority edition: Enterprise
All card types (USB tokens, smart cards) and their ATR (Answer To Reset) values are known, which are used in SAM and will be used in Indeed CM.
On the Indeed Certificate Manager side:
Indeed CM Server version 4.1.3 or higher
Data storage in Active Directory or Microsoft SQL
Migration procedure
Data migration is performed in several stages:
